Safe Websites for Kids of all Ages
The creation of the internet has helped to bring knowledge, entertainment,
and communication (email) to the home and fingers for millions of families
across the United States and the world.  One major concern, however, is that
all of this information is available to both adults and children alike - making it
difficult for parents to truly control what content their child accesses.

This link will lead to a list of child-friendly websites that are educational and/or
entertaining and creative.  Most will not have any chat capabilities.  The
occasional site that does have chat capabilities will be marked by red
asterisks.  I guarantee that I have thoroughly examined each site before
publishing their link, but it is important for you to also evaluate the various
sites you wish for your child to be allowed to access.  This is the only way for
you to know for sure what each sites is about and the elements within the site
to determine if any given site is appropriate for your child and meets your
standards of the information you find acceptable for your child/children.
